Regional Economic Partnerships
The Alliance SSP (Sub-regional Strategic Partnership) brings together local people in North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire with the single minded ambition to use the area's many strengths to raise prosperity and employment for the benefit of everyone.
The aim of the Derby & Derbyshire Economic Partnership is to stimulate, develop and exploit a range of sustainable economic opportunities in Derby and Derbyshire to improve the prosperity, quality of life and overall environment for businesses, communities, individuals and visitors.
The GNP was formed to improve partnership working, and to attract more government money to Greater Nottingham for regeneration.
In 2002 the GNP became one of the East Midlands Development Agency's (emda) seven Sub-Regional Strategic Partnerships (SSPs).
The Leicester Shire Economic Partnership (LSEP) was set up in September 2002 by the East Midlands Development Agency to foster and promote economic devleopment within Leicester and Leicestershire.
Lincolnshire Enterprise as the emda-recognised subregional strategic partnership for Lincolnshire, co-ordinates the regeneration activities set out in the Lincolnshire Agenda to ensure local delivery of initiatives, county and regional policies add value.
The Northamptonshire Partnership is the main partner for the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) delivering economic develoment within the county of Northamptonshire.
The Welland SSP is a cross-boundary, cross-community partnership covering five districts across four counties and working together with local communities to produce gains for all. Welland is the only East Midlands SSP with a solely rural and market towns agenda.
