Priorities within our portfolio have included:

1. Continuing to promote a more proactive approach to attracting inward investment, encouraging more exports and developing the region's wider image through support for the Leicester Shire Promotions Company.
2. Establishing science park facilities in Leicester and Loughborough related to the regional universities, which can capitalise on research and development ideas and 'spin-out' companies.
3. Providing incubator units where there are gaps in the small workspace market across Leicester Shire.
4. Acting as a catalyst in bringing together the public and private sectors to release planned employment land sites.
