The Leicestershire Employment and Skills Board was launched in 2007 and aims to shape and influence the delivery of an integrated employment and skills strategy. The Board is chaired by Richard Brucciani of PAL International Ltd, and brings together key employers with public and third sectors to create an integrated employment and skills service that will increase the sustainable employment progression within the sub region.
A key focus of the Skills Board is to increase the skill levels of Leicestershire residents to better meet employer demand and provide a source of competitive advantage for existing and potential employers. This will be realised by sharing data, intelligence, knowledge and experience and through aligning services and plans partners can help develop a synergy that provides better outcomes and improved value for money.
