East Midlands E-Commerce Awards
The Awards are run on a regional basis in the following categories, with the regional winner of each category going forward to a national category final:
- E-Business Start-up
- E-Business
- E-Trading
- Best use of Broadband
- Best use of Teleworking
Winners of each category, in each of the 12 awards regions will win £2,000 in cash, free publicity, and a place in the national finals. Winners and runners up both receive certificates of commendation. Winners are announced at a regional presentation event which will take place on Thursday 16th September 2004.
The 12 regional winners in each category go forward to be judged at a national level. Winners in each category are awarded £8,000 and a trophy at the Awards Gala Dinner held in October.
National Innovation Awards
The National Innovation Awards recognise organisations that can demonstrate innovative and sustained use of technology to improve their business through:
- Mobile & Wireless Technology
- Advanced Supply Chain Integration
- Best Rural E-Business & Community
National Innovation Award winners will each receive a cash prize of £8,000, publicity and a trophy at the Awards Gala Dinner.
The overall national winner, selected by the national judging panel from the winners of the National Awards and National Innovation Awards, receives an additional £30,000 in cash.
