The Board
LSEP is a company limited by guarantee with a Board of 17 directors who represent many leading businesses and organisations in Leicester Shire. The chair and vice-chair are representatives of the business community. Other directors hail from business and from city, county and district councils, other public bodies, universities in the sub-region and the third sector. Other people are invited to attend Board meetings including emda and the Government Office of the East Midlands (GOEM) who will send a representative to each Board meeting.

Rick Moore has been appointment Chairman of LSEP on a three year term of office. Rick has nearly 40 years experience in the property market in the East Midlands. Having been a partner in a major Midland firm of Chartered Surveyors for many years, in 1992 Rick opened up a new Chartered Surveyors/Estate Agency business Moore & York dealing with residential agency, land development and professional matters.
He was appointed a Magistrate in 1981 and is a former Chairman of the Leicestershire Magistrates Courts Committee, the Leicester City Bench and the Leicester City Licensing, Betting & Gaming Committees.
Rick is a General Commissioner of Taxes, Chairman of the Leicestershire & Rutland Board of The Prince's Trust, Governor of a large sixth form college and is Chairman of the Board of Business Builder.

Martin Traynor had more than 20 years of hotel management experience before becoming president of the Loughborough Chamber of Commerce prior to his current role.
He also works with a number of youth-related organisations, chairing Connexions Leicestershire and the board of governors at the Royal National Institute of the Blind Vocational College in Loughborough, as well as serving on the Board of the Princes Trust, Leicestershire.

Kishor Tailor has worked in the private and public sectors and has overseen major regeneration programmes. He worked for City Challenge, latterly as their Chief Executive.
He returned to Leicester City Council to head the regeneration function and was responsible for both the physical and social regeneration of the city. He also had the responsibility to oversee the council's International and European work.
